The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging provides a variety of services and programs to assist older adults aged 60+ and their families with the goal of helping older adults maintain independence in their homes and communities.  There are financial eligibility guidelines which may vary by program and the priority is given to individuals with the greatest needs and fewest resources.

They offer more than 20 programs including:

• In home personal care & support
• Home delivered meals
• Transportation
• Legal assistance
• Family caregiver support
• Community Senior Centers
• Health insurance counseling through APPRISE  ( find out which Medicare plan is best for your situation from trained counselors)
• Adult protective services ( addressing neglect and/or abuse situations)
• Ombudsman services
• Help with applying for pharmaceutical assistance (PACE), Rent and Property tax rebate program
• Comprehensive Information and Referral Department  –  answer questions and offer referrals to other agencies in the community that provide the specific services needed.
