The Southeast Regional CSP meeting brings together representatives from the five Southeast counties of Pennsylvania – Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia. They meet once a month to share information about what the members from each county’s individual CSP meeting are working on, and to address issues that are common among the region. All interested individuals are welcome to attend Regional CSP meetings.

Southeast Regional CSP Meeting

Takes place on the 1^st Monday of every month
(On holidays, SE regional CSP meetings are on the 2^nd Monday.)

SE regional meetings last from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
(Subcommittees take place between 2:00pm and 3:00pm.)

 This month, the SE regional meeting took place on Monday, November 7th.

Next month’s SE Regional meeting takes place on December 5th 2022.

All members of local CSPs are welcome and encouraged to attend! We welcome your voice.

As global, national, state, county, and community anxieties and fears around COVID-19 dangers continue, and as restricitons related to COVID-19 safety are examined, all CSP meetings will take place in a shared online space, through Zoom meetings. A web camera is not needed to take part in these meetings; you can join Zoom meetings with any cell or touchtone phone.

Southeast Regional CSP Projects

Annual Conference

SE regional CSP organizes a conference every year, usually held in May or early June, that brings together folks from five counties in Southeast Pennsylvania, to highlight recovery-oriented practices.

We are working to provide ongoing updates on adaptations to our 2022 regional CSP conference. Please check back each month for any changes or announcements.

Regional CSP’s Scholarship Program:

Southeast regional CSP sets aside money in its budget to provide scholarships to individuals, to help them attend conferences which would support them in growing in their recovery and advocating for changes in their community. Please reach out to a CSP meeting chairperson in your county to learn more about your opportunities to attend conferences with support from CSP. In Bucks County, our chairpersons are

Regional CSP’s Seed Grant Program:

A seed grant is money that is allocated to help fund new initiatives/projects. The SE Regional CSP has developed a Seed Grant Program to fund initiatives in each county which specifically promote CSP principles and target the needs of persons with serious mental illness or co-occurring disorders.

The seed grant program is not designed to fully fund projects, so applicants can only request half the cost of a project up to $500.00. Each grant request must also include a source of funds which will cover the remainder of the project’s cost. Grants are generally awarded through the fall, winter and early spring, as the grant money must be used by June 30th. This allows for new seed grants to be considered in the following fiscal year, which begins on July 1st. Applications may be submitted to your local or regional CSP coordinator, CSP liaison at the agency you are connected with, or meeting chairperson at any time during the year.

Any organization working with persons with serious mental illness, such as local county CSP committees, consumer groups, family groups, provider agencies including managed care organizations (profit or non profit), agencies and organizations who support individuals with mental illness, and any individual with lived experience can apply for a grant. You must ensure there are matching funds to supplement funds provided by the grant, you must ensure that the project will be completed within the time frame of the fiscal year.
